The Guidance team provides various counseling services to promote positive growth and development for students.
1. Gratitude Program:
This year, the Guidance team participated in the Education Bureau's "The More Grateful, The Happier" project. Through organizing various gratitude activities, we aimed to promote the positive message of gratitude and appreciation. The activities included a gratitude challenge, creating a gratitude tree, a gratitude tongue twister competition, the Parent-Child Gratitude Jar Workshop, a gratitude-recreation chess design competition, and a love message creation contest.
2. Class management:
During the school suspension period, teachers played games and had conversations with students online during homeroom time to establish a good teacher-student relationship. In addition, homeroom teachers sent Christmas gifts to students by mail, providing some warmth in the cold winter.
3. Lingnan Superkid Reward Scheme:
"We provide positive reward schemes to establish good character, habits, and behavior in students, and internalize their values.
4. Spiritual Refueling Station:
During the pandemic period, the counseling group organized a 5-week online Zoom 'Station of Spiritual Refueling' to support the spiritual needs of students during the pandemic and provide appropriate counseling.
5. Soup for the Soul
After reading the spiritual picture book 'A Hole in My Heart,' students learned to return to peace, overcome adversity, and rediscover their original intentions. They then wrote down their life stories.
Gratitude Novuss designed by students, makes me want to play it too!!
